Meditation Small Heavenly Circle, for the loading of Qi in the Dan-tian, the fundamental exercises of importantssima 少林气功基本法Shaolin Qi gong-ji-do-well.

In Qigong, there is a natural relationship between the ordinary external respiration (breath post-natal) and internal movement of Qi (breath prenatal): "When you open your arms as you inhale, it facilitates the recruitment of fresh Qi from outside; while the opening of the arms as you exhale, facilitates the expulsion of Qi deteriorated or the emission of force. "

During inhalation, the air temperature drops in the body, while simultaneously Qi rises from the perineum, the "gate of the earth" (hui-yin, or Muladhara cakra), through the "Governing Vessel or sea of yang meridians" Du- ever, along the midline sagittal line, in the rear region of the body (maximum yang), until reaching the upper dantian (Chian), the region yang situated in the center of the head.

During exhalation, the air temperature rises out of the body, while the Qi descends through the "Conception Vessel or sea of yin meridians" Ren-ever, along the midline of the anterior part of the body (yin maximum) to reach the region of the Earth (Kun), or lower dan-tian.

This circuit is called Xiao-zhou-tian "Small Heavenly Circle" of Qi in the body, and is triggered when it comes to creating a state of fullness of qi in the dan-tian below, technically called "The blast of boiling."

To bring the "breath of boiling" you must put your right hand on the dan-tian, three fingers below the navel and the left over right, you should run clockwise in the energy, according to a centripetal spiral motion, making 36 rotations. Breathing in the abdomen swells and your hands up towards the top, being careful not to move above the diaphragm, exhale, the abdomen is deflated and the hands go down, but not below the pubic bone.

You must hold your tongue against the upper palate, and just accumulated saliva, now full of Qi and therefore called the "heavenly dew", must swallow sending it in the lower abdomen, then you must perform the "three major adjustments" (Saint-tiao) which constitute the basic practice of Qi-gong.

The sequence goes from inside to outside:

  • first you need to think of exercise to achieve,
  • then you have to run it with breathing and
  • Finally, the movement of the body follows the breath.

Once completed 36 rotations clockwise, you have your left hand under the right and begins a spiral movement in the centrifugal direction, for a further 36 times, completing the collection of the "breath of boiling" in dan-tian. The same exercise should be repeated behind his back, the pressure point Ming-men. With practice, you can then do this charging technique only with the mind. This technique can be practiced anywhere, without a limit, when standing, sitting and lying.
