Born in Milan in November 2003, with offices in Milan, Beijing and Rome, Italy China Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to promote economic exchanges, political and cultural relations between Italy and China, in particular, the Foundation aims to increase the exchange of ideas, people, goods, services and capital between the two countries.
The Foundation assists Italian businesses through training, projects and market penetration, strategic consulting, legal, corporate and HR.
The Foundation is working with the authorities of both countries in order to contribute to closer economic and trade relations between Italy and China and to promote a better economic environment for the Italian companies that operate with China and a more receptive environment for Chinese companies in Italy.
The Foundation counts among its members Ministries, Regions, ICE, Confindustria, the most important companies and major banks in Italy and the association of Chinese multinationals that have invested in Italy.
In 2009, the Italy-China Foundation has opened the School of Continuing Education, the only one in Italy to offer in-house management training in Italian companies through the delivery of highly qualified and projects tailored to the needs of individual companies.
Over the last few years the Foundation has also set up training courses for over three hundred and fifty companies, implementing a series of courses relevant to commercial and operational understanding with China. Last year was triggered Business Italy, the first training course for Chinese managers.
The CeSIF, Centre for Business Research Foundation, is a permanent center of information and update statistical and economic aims to conduct and promote studies, statistical analysis, conferences and publications on the Chinese market to the benefit of members of Foundation and the Italian entrepreneurial system but also to analysts, economists, journalists and students.
