The path for the recognition of Non Conventional Medicines (MNC *) followed up to now a long passage through Parliament, without reaching even to the creation of a national regulatory framework. Currently in Italy is not yet legally recognized professional Naturopath and of the ' operator of Bio-Natural Disciplines. There are only regional laws.

* Why do you call MnC: Non-Conventional Medicine?

There is now a unique consensus on the definition to be adopted with respect to the socio-medical disciplines known as Non-Conventional Medicine. You have chosen to use this expression (in preference to other popular both domestically and abroad, as Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Natural Medicine, etc..) [ WHO Traditional Medicine Strategy 2002-2005 ] as that prevailing in the European institutional context , is adopted by the European Parliament (European Parliament, Resolution n.75/1997 of 05/29/1997) and the Council of Europe (Council of Europe, Resolution n.1206/1999 An European approach to non conventional medicines).

For this reason a project was born People: A POPULAR Law On Non-Conventional Medicine, a People present ata bill not against conventional medicine, not so with a spirit of aggression but of esteem for all the paths, where the knowledge of care co-exist, but not limited to mere tolerance by integrating with love for the good of man. Man seen in its full expression: physical, mental and spiritual. The intent is the institutional recognition of Non-Conventional Medicine practicable by suitably trained operators, regardless of their membership in the medical profession in areas of responsibility clear and well defined (in line with the EU directives). The World Health Organization (WHO) for this propostito writes:

"The medical health professionals may not be considered a sustainable resource and value for all countries of the world and the use of these operators in the system of primary care, in close collaboration with the operators of conventional medicine, helps to achieve systems health more practical, effective, and culturally acceptable. Benefit from the best of conventional medicine and the conventional one and an efficient and effective collaboration between the two fields, is an inalienable right of the citizen and the community. "
