The AVSI Foundation is a non-governmental organization, NGO, founded in 1972 and mpegnata with over 100 cooperation projects in 38 developing countries worldwide in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia. AVSI has been active in education, health, hygiene, care of children in difficult conditions, vocational training, urban development, food security, agriculture, environment, micro-entrepreneurship, ICT and emergency humanitarian relief. AVSI is also a Board authorized by the Italian government for international adoptions.

SHAOLIN TEMPLE ITALY Project supports the Humanitarian of AVSI CURTAINS, fundraising and awareness campaign created by the involvement of a network of over 12 thousand volunteers, supporters, AVSI Point, in Italy and abroad (see: AVSITende20112012cartellastampa )

For the 2011-2012 Campaign wants to support AVSI Tents 6 major projects around the world
"THE ROOT OF DEVELOPMENT: THE HUMAN FACTOR"
The four projects to be supported:
1. KENYA , even famine in the Horn of Africa emergency is education. Schools for children and training for teachers in Dadaab refugee camp in the world's largest.
2. HAITI , Reconstructing the human: an educational center for boys. A welcoming and safe for children and young people in Port-au-Prince and their teachers and parents.
3. Dem rep. CONGO , all at school with Child Sponsorship. Schooling, medical care, recreational activities for children and young people of Kivu and support for families.
4. EGYPT , to support the Latin Patriarchate schools and training teachers. Education for children and training teachers to promote social integration in difficult situations.
